Image Centre proposed to redevelop the corporate site as a portal to ensure that users were presented with all of Firths offerings and with a consistent message. The site needed to be structured so that two groups were catered for:
- End users (DIY’ers, home owners, enthusiasts)
- Professionals/Influencers (architects, designers, landscapers, engineers)
The portal approach maximised the exposure of the key areas within the site by driving traffic through one central point. Each area of the site was designed to provide tailored information to its specific audience.
Trade/ technical users are able to login and access documents and resources specific to their needs and products they use.
